While co-sleeping in hospital may not pass the "hospital safety test"
or some such, I find that while in hospital it is much more important
what the individual nurse in charge of your care thinks about the
safety of various options. A very tightly rolled blanket creates a
bolster effect and would not even come near the baby; it would only
block the opening between the bed and the rail. Anyway, the hospital
may have policies, but really the nurses dictate what, how, when you
can co-sleep and how to help you make it safer.

The side-car from Germany is beautiful, but in the hospital here, I
would have to bring my own.
