Becky,
My experience with Medela pumps is the same as yours. I can't understand what
Medela is talking about when they say the Lactina and Classic are equal. I am
a private practice LC and we have a fairly large rental station. We carry both
Classics and Lactinas. Any mother that is separated from her baby (NICU, etc.)
always gets a Classic from us, as well as those mothers who I am working with
that have a breastfeeding problem. For the *back to work moms* we usually rent
a Lactina, since it is so much more portable.
Yaffa
