I am looking for some help from all of you. I have been working with a Mother and her baby going on two months now. Mom was anemic and has had a low milk supply from the beginning. Taking Fenugreek and Reglan she gets 10-20cc 8 times /day (pumping) 
Her baby was born at 29 weeks gestation. She is now 35 weeks, adjusted. She does not get, and has not gotten any bottles. She is gavage fed or breast fed with an SNS, and in last week getting a cup feeding one time at night. All of her feedings have needed to be finished by gavage.
Here's the issue: She appears to be sucking vigorously at the breast/SNS but not taking hardly anything. Positioning looks great. We changed to a Starter set today and she did better taking 10 cc then she wouldn't take any more. Mom is great and very dedicated to breastfeeding. I just feel like I'm missing something but I can't figure out what. I can't see anything wrong with the SNS. Any suggestions? TIA
