DSS does some strange things from time to time, and this looks like it's
happened here.  I would suspect the Judge wants that baby with her mother,
and her request would substantiate that idea.  Perhaps DSS can find someplace
for the mom and baby to be together, outside their home environment, where
they may be assisted while DSS does their investigation.

Congratulations to you for having the opportunity to testify for these
moms.....
