This seems to be a common (or convenient?) misconception. The formula
reps here (various companies) also believe that the Code only applies to
developing countries. This is, of course, very definitely *not* the
case! Also, I do not know of a single formula company that wholly
observes the Code in developing countries. Violations abound!
