if a mother pumps her milk and dumps it until the levels of radiation are low
enough to resume pumping, do the pump parts needs to tested as well? did this
question come up before and i forgot? if so, i am sorry.
also, i was under the impression that the medela temporary SNS could be used
for a few days or a week or two, but i just hooked up a mother with one and
she pointed out that the instructions say how to clean it between uses and
also to discard it after twentyfour hours! this was another classic example of
the train wreck that could have been prevented five weeks ago with the merest
attention of the nursing staff, or the staff lactation consultant, or the
volunteer helper, etc., but here it is and mopping up activities continue, as
they used to say.
