For years I have been careful when I speak respectfully to other health
care providers, first as a nurse, later as an LLLL, still later as IBCLC in
the hospital.  I have done many hours of research, hunted down references,
sent many a nice little note with careful wording along with articles to
help educate and enlighten others about breastfeeding facts and research. 
I will continue to do this, after 22 years, but the words I would like to
hear  and have yet to hear are-
