A pediatrician called me to tell me about his patient, a two month old
whose mom is taking Paxil and Gingko, prescribed to her by her obstetrician
because she is complaining of disinterest in sex. He was wondering if this
would be okay for the breastfeeding baby. I cannot find gingko in my
files, except that is is contraindicated during pregnancy.

Also I have a question about a mom who is taking lithium for bipolar
disorder, and thinking of getting pregnant, wondering if she would be able
to breastfeed and take it. It is contraindicated by the AAP but I was
wondering if there is any new information about this.
