A little tidbit I picked up from one of the doctors at a homeopathy
clinic:  HOMEOPATHIC hypericum is a good remedy for epidural headache.
It is effective for areas which have a lot of nerve endings (after root
canal work, whiplash, spinal injuries, smashed fingers...)  The dose
would be 12C (3 globules) every 1/2 hr. to hour until the symptoms are
better.
