I am not sure I agree with you. I have had plenty of mothers w/ fully
breastfed healthy, non-anemic, well-developed babies told that they are

hampering their baby's maturity by breastfeeding for "too long"

"too long"=anytime after baby can start solids. I have had to lie through
my teeth my last three visits just about my 11 month old who hardly eats
anything other than my milk. The nurse is completely shocked the baby
nurses more than once a day, and is insisting he get a blood test: "he
*must* be nutritionally deprived, and anemic at the very least."

So why is he my first child to walk before 14 months, and why are his
cheeks rosy and his smile bright?
