Dear Lactnetters ,
I have always thought that pump trial stations are a great idea.
We all know that there are so many variables with pumping. However, please
excuse my naivete, if this question is obvious. Is the liability issue of
reusing kits come because the pumped milk is being given to the baby?? Are
these mothers pumping and dumping? It seems as you use many different
pumps that that would be the logical thing to do. If that is the case, I
don't understand how there could be a concern about the cleanliness of the
pump. Mother to mother tranmission of germs?? Is that likely, other than
yeast?? Please enlighten me!!!
