Greetings all,
I have a couple thoughts this foggy morning about double pumping....I have
often offered mom's the option of single pumping if they are in the early
postpartum because they are usually dealing with lots of "body stuf"...One mom
with a great sense of humor said " I'm leaking from every orafice on my
body...I'm bleeding, crying and leaking milk all at once !" She appreciated
single pumping because it was less overwhelming.
Also, I think mom's with hospitalized premies benefit from single pumping at
least once a day because its like what the singleton baby would normally be
doing if he were able. Gives the body a clue of what's ahead.
And, one more thought...the new hands free pumping kit for the M Bra is an
option for anyone considering double pumping...not just working moms. I
recently sold one to a mom who needed her hands free to help a toddler with a
snack and a book during pumping time.
Northern California is drying out today...More rain tomarrow.
