I have taught breastfeeding classes as an LLL Leader on several occasions. I
know of no LLL regulations prohibiting this. The Leader will need to notify her
Area representatives and have her outline content approved by someone in the PL
Program. Many Leaders are unaware of how to use the PL Program. She can check
the Area Directory for the name and number of an A/APL and they will be able to
help her if she chooses to speak. Leaders, however, are not required to accept
outside speaking engagements and she may be uncomfortable with the idea.
