FIRST AND MOST IMPORTANT QUESTION:

How big are the parents and the aunts and uncles and cousins? Gosh if he
has an uncle that is 6 foot 8 and 325 pounds or an aunt that is 6 foot 3
and 240 pounds then he is probably going to be the same way too.

When will people realize that 99th percentile doesn't mean abnormal? You
have to track this boy's size from birth on. If he has always been 90th
percentile or more than he will obviously be in the 90th percentile or more
as an adult. 50th percentile is not the norm it is only the AVERAGE.
 There is a huge difference

Once again somebody is trying to blame breastfeeding for something it has
no logical reason to be blamed for. Imagine how fat this kid would be if
somebody was pouring cow's milk formula down him, making sure that he
always emptied the bottle?
