Moshe and Susan Srebrnik,
You mentioned cabbage leaves reducing the amount of milk.  To my
knowledge, it is not necessarily the milk, but the congestion in the
tissues that the cabbage helps.  I know if used too long or too much,
the milk will dry up, but is this from the cabbage or involution?  or
both?  You mention in your note from Sept. 4 that cabbage works on
swollen ankles, etc. as well.  I agree.  That's why I beleive the
mechanism is more reducing the swelling in the tissues than reducing
the amount of milk.  Engorgement is more than just a lot of milk in
the breasts.
