Recently I sent an e-mail to Nestle, after visiting their WEB pages.  I
reminded them that I am still boycotting their products and that I tell
others about the boycott. I complained that Nestle does not honor the
WHO Code, and said I am particularly bothered that they advertise their
infant formula on US television.  I recieved a reply which I will post
here.  Seems Nestle feels the Code only applies to "developing
countries." ...Interesting!   BTW the Nestle site is:

boycott is still 'on' - there is absolutely no justification for this.
Nestle does keep to the spirit and the letter of the international code
on marketing infant feeding substitutes, which involves not advertising
such products in the developing world, as you must know.
It is also a central platform for Nestle - and always has been - that
'breast is best'. However, there will always be situations when a mother
cannot or will not breast feed her child.
However, I am happy that you can use our web site as a resource, if only
to
refer to the products you will not buy. Please return often - we are
constantly updating it.
