Anna,
with the risk of sounding abrupt, I think this woman should give out fruit
baskets as holiday gifts - that way all she needs to do is order and slap
it together, and the rest of the time she should try to sit and Bf that
baby, especially if her body is responding already to her efforts.  Her
baby is more important than anything else and if other people can't
understand that that's very  unfortunate.  I think the best gift she can
give her family is a happy, healthy grandchild/niece/cousin.
