Hi all, I had some computer-net problems after the AT&T shut down a few
weeks ago. All straightened out with thanks to Kathleen Bruce and Melissa
Vickers! It was so frustrating not to be able to talk with you all.

I gather you've been talking about the latest JHL special subject issue. I
thought it was WONDERFUL. Have used shields upon occasion(the very thin
latex kind), with good results. I used to control their use in hosp. by
locking them in my locker! Only an LC should give one to a mom, then they
won't be used as a handy "fix-all" for overworked pp or nursery nurses.

Remember the rule is "there are no rules" (M. Woolwich). I have adopted
this for my motto in many areas of my life! You watch carefully, listen and
learn. Then do what needs to be done for a good outcome. I admire all of
the authors who stepped up and said, this is what I did and how I did it.
Thank you for helping us all break out of the box! (Thought the editorial
was great too!)

Sincerely, Pat Young, in very rainy southern New Jersey, getting over the
"flu's first cousin". They say it's not "the" flu, but I think it is a very
good imitation...maybe very awful is what I mean.
