I helped a mom who was on prozac and got pregnant with second baby soon
after first and prozac didn't work well enough for her after that so
they said she needed to wean so they could experiment with a bunch of
things to find something that worked- and since she was having so many
bf problems anyways that it was more important to be a well adjusted,
happy mom than to bf.

With her problems as they are could she possibly hold off getting
pregnant as she searches for solutions to the cause of her problems
instead of drugs?
I don't care what drug your on, having more than one kid is enough to
drive most people to depression, anxiety, and more.
I know everyone will not agree with me but I feel that Susan Smith
(mother who rolled car w/her two boys into lake to drown) is just a
reflection of the rest of us (or where we could be were it not for our
happy up bringing, supportive husbands, girl friends, support groups, and
who knows what else - all of which she had none. I'd bet she never
thought that she would be capable of killing her own children either!
A person who wants more children should understand that the love that
swells her heart now that she feels is enough to share with another
child is sometimes simply not enough when put to the test of constant
fighting, several sticky spills a day, piles of dishes, toys everywhere,
a husband with stresses of his own etc. And under depression one
strains to see ANY joy in parenthood and easily forgets why they had
children in the first place.

You said she might be interested in alternative therapy. There are
excellent books out lately that explore finding the cause of present
emotional, physical, hormonal, etc problems. She could start by
listening to her intuition for guidance about where to find the info she
needs.
