One of the projects that the South Australian College of Lactation Consultants has been looking at is producing a television commercial promoting breastfeeding for World Breastfeeding Week. We have previously received public funding for some radio commercials. Our idea was to get a prominent Australian media identity who had recently had a baby involved. We have so far been unsuccessful.

Wouldn't it be wonderful to get Madonna involved in promoting breastfeeding. Whatever your views on Madonna, I'm sure she could have more impact in a thirty second commercial on the public's attitude to breastfeeding than I could in thirty lifetimes!
So how about it? Does someone in the States know how to contact Madonna and talk to her about promoting breastfeeding.

I guess I'm only dreaming but wouldn't it be just great!
