I am about to write and editorial to an ob/gyn Digest that came out in february
and it was an article re: how little prepared ob/gyns were to manage
breast-feeding women and their infants, and it hit me right away that they
don't even know the correct spelling of this primary function, yet in my
response I don't know how to back up the correct spelling of breastfeeding
and why it should be that way vs B-Feeding. Any one (sp) know the semantics
issue with references ?

Also how many of you read the latest issue of JOGNN and it's Formula
friendly article lets chat and respond.

Anyone out their from Florida WRITE, CALL OR FAX you local legislators
representatives/senators re: House Bill 0103 Mark Flanagan rep.:
to mandate insurance to COVER OPTIONS ie: Minimum 48 hour stay for vaginal
deliveries, VOTE, 96 hours for C-Section del. OR and this is the BEST PART,
a home visit or follow up visit for MOM AND BABY at the mothers/doctors
discretion no other bill sponsored provides for BOTH OPTIONS only mandated
stays. We all know which one is the best interest of the new family...VOTE,
CALL, WRITE...... VOTE.

Lastly WHY I SHOULD BREASTFEED MY BABY is by the illustrious PAM WIGGINS IBCLC
she can be reached at <[log in to unmask]> She writes the best lower literacy
level books that a PhD can read and not feel condescended upon they are the
best books for ANYONE freshly postpartum who is too tired to read
encyclopedias or bibles and has lost the one page brf sheet she got in the
hospital, it got hidden under all the formula preparation and coupon
papers......

She also has Creole or Hatian,French, Spanish and maybe others already
translated and they are so reader friendly you ought to order some for your
library. She has such a way with words...love her.
