Subject - `Cold Breasts'

I have been asked to send on a puzzling situation.
The mother has a 4 weeks old baby. When the baby
was 1 week old, the mother started to get a sensation
of `Cold Breasts'. Her breasts are not cold to touch
but feel `cold' 24 hours a day. The mother has taken
to wearing extra shirts and sweaters.

The mother has not noticed a change in the cold feeling during a feeding, after
a let-down or at any time of the day. The baby is doing well and the mother is
not experiencing any other problems. The mother is not planning to quit
Breastfeeding.

Has anyone seen or read about a similar situation?

TIA,

Irene Ford LLLLeader
