 Subject: Breastfeeding Posters

 > I took along the poster I got at the LLLI conference in July

 >"Health Canada."

Health Canada came out with a series of Posters. The first one
was "Who said that a day in the Park was impossible?
   Breastfeeding. Anytime. Anywhere. Breastfeeding
is a normal part of life. It's the natural thing to do."
The 2nd poster was "....the day at the Mall..." They both printed for 1994
International Year of the Family. The second poster was put out along with the
T.V. spot that was aired during the Summer games in Victoria, B.C. We just
recieved promo packes from Health Canada that consist of T.V. spots, bus
advertisements and other misc. items.

The last poster that we got from Health Canada is a smaller poster. It is
8 1/2 by 11 1/2 with a baby laying on a blanket. In large letters it says "
BREAST MILK, ACCEPT NO SUBSTITUTES." n smaller letter the poster reads, "
GET THE FACTS: - Your baby needs your breast milk - Breastfed babies are
healthier - Breastfed babies have fewer allergies - Breastfed babies have fewer
infections " Nothing compares to breast milk!"

I just hunted out the copies of all of these posters. As far as I can tell
is that LLLCanada has copies of "...day at the Mall..." and the poster. I seem
to remember that the "...day in the Park..." may not be available. You could
call LLLCanada at 1-613-448-1842 between Monday to Thursday. I know that
Canadian Groups can still order 10 copies along with any order. The number for
Health Canada is 1-613-957-7193.
