Hi Virginia,
Thank you so much for your thoughtful reply. It's so nice to receive kind
words like this. I am glad my story meant something to you and others.
(Susan and Susan, thank you!)  It really was a big win for everyone, and I
can't say enough good things about Betty.
And yes about the bottle feeding, Virginia, exactly. Milk would leak, baby
would slurp noisily, slip on and off the teat, but mom's nipples wouldn't
hurt and as long as baby managed to transfer adequately - the problem was
considered solved!!
We've come a long way from that around here.
