What do you ladies know about dysphagia? I have a client who recently had
her 8 month old diagnosised with this and the children's hospital told her
that she shouldn't use breastmilk but instead use formula and thicken it. I
have never even heard of dysphagia so I thought I would see if there is
anyone with any information on this? I always thought breastmilk would be
easier or less likely to aspirate. This baby has been breastfeed and
formula fed her whole life without any thickening. The mom contacted me and
wanted to know if she should discontinue the breastmilk. Again, I have
never had experience with this. Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks!!
