Dear all,

Pat was suggesting that we all inform IBLCE of our worries and thoughts regarding the new requirements.
I was wondering... writing letters takes a lot of time, time that has already been spent by many in writing their Lactnet-posts.
What about being efficient: we cannot forward what others have said.
We CAN forward, though, what we ourselves have said! :-)
What if we would all use the subject line "IBLCE requirements, LACTNET post d.d. x" and forward our message to IBLCE?
I received an e-mail off list, encouraging me to forward my post about Amy's situation to IBLCE.
I was referring to Laurie's post in that message, so for the context I would have leave that message in.
I do not feel comfortable, however, forwarding other people's messages without them knowing or without their consent.
The LACTNET archives are open to anyone; would it alternatively be useful to attend IBLCE to the fact that a big discussion is going on?
Or will they not take a look and will forwarding messages or writing letters be more effective?

To the dear colleague urging me to forward: I have not said 'no' yet, but want to see how others feel first.
I'm quite good a starting delicate discussions (louse in the fur is my middle name... hahaha), but would rather chime for once, instead of being the first! ;o)

Warmly,

Marianne Vanderveen IBCLC, Netherlands
