Thanks for your concern. We only supply formula to infants who are unable
to nurse for health concerns of the mother. It is more important that they
thrive than starve from the malnutrition when a parent dies, abandons, or is
diagnosed with aids. Thank you for your concern, I assure you we do
everything in our power to advocate breastfeeding. It is not a choice in
Haiti. God Bless.

Hello

I think you are the church that is sending a mission to Haiti?

I read about it in this news article:

http://www.thisweeknews.com/live/content/olentangy/stories/2009/01/14/0115po
haiti_ln.html

Thank you for taking on this very important work.

Would you please reconsider your plan to take infant formula to Haiti? It
has been shown to be harmful in emergency situations.

For a full explanation, please take a look at this document from the
Emergency Nutrition Network:

Specifically and directly, look at this page:

http://www.ennonline.net/ife/generalpublic/myths

I know your hearts are in the right place, but taking infant formula can
cause much harm in the short and long run.

Thanks for considering this, and God Bless You.

Sincerely
