This is the website of the Mission that is sending the infant formula to
Haiti Lifeline Christian Mission
http://www.lifeline.org/projects/LifelineProjects.htm

Infant formula is on their donation request list.

Perhaps some gentle education in the form of emails would be helpful? The
only email I could find to contact about donations was [log in to unmask]
I have sent one to her, and to the church in the article

Subject: Church members will take infant formula, food to Haiti

Time to circulate those infant feeding in emergency situations documents

again - anyone have the link handy? I'll post it on my Facebook page, and

get it circulating. (I love Facebook now, because it extends our reach

beyond the breastfeeding community No more just "preaching to the choir"

"Church minister J.D. Hite of Worthington and members Sharon Werner of

Powell, Vanessa Weingarten of Westerville and Nick Lamatrice of Dublin will

fly into Port-au-Prince, Haiti, and travel to Grand Goave. Working through

Lifeline Christian Missions, Westerville, they will deliver infant formula

and food for the local people.

(See link for full article, above is the only direct reference to infant

formula. No mention made of breastfeeding.)
