Dear lactation consultants, 

I know a mom whose doctor prescribed cranberry pills for prevention of
recurrent UTI. Mom is breastfeeding her 7 months old. There is nothing
indicated on the box of pills re side effects for breastfeeding. Are there
any studies that show negative side effects of taking cranberry pills during
breastfeeding?
