<<I just don't get why people try to make everything look and appear to be "like breastfeeding" but it just isn't breastfeeding.!>>

I was at swimming lessons with my friends children this week and saw a mother of three feed her youngest son who was 10 weeks old. This mom pulled out one of those bottles that looks like a breast - the Adiri ones - and filled it with ABM. She then proceeded to place baby in a nursing position and feed her baby.

I wish I could have taken a picture of this mom feeding her baby FAKE milk with a FAKE breast while holding her baby against her REAL breast and not using her REAL milk.

The irony was not lost on my friends 5yr old (who weaned at 3.5yrs,) when we got back in the car he wanted to know why the mom was using a fake boob when she had two real ones, then he answered his own question saying "shes just stupid for not feeding bo!" (Bo was his word for nursing.)
