A client questioned me about a Lanolin Hydrous that was being given to her as
a new breastfeeding mother at the hospital. The nurses told her it is safe for
breastfeeding but the tube says to call poison control if ingested and that it is
for external use only.
When I asked the company about their product they stated "it is safe for
nursing mothers, for the amount that will be used it is save for the babies
when it is ingested in large quantities that's when you need to contact posion
control"
What are your thoughts???
Thanks
Rose
