>>>However, the concern was asked about a pregnant
mother looking to have a plentiful milk supply for a toddler. It's going to
be hard to get, because the body is preparing for a new baby, and the brain
is saying you just don't need the volume. Of course there are exceptions,
but it sounds like this lady was challenged to start.<<<

No, she does NOT need an increased milk supply for the toddler. I must not
have communicated that clearly.

What we are wondering is, 'does the potential exist to use a currently
lactating breast to produce MORE milk now, so that when the baby is born in 6
weeks, she is ALREADY producing (or her glandular tissue has grown, etc.) a
sufficient quality of milk?'

Confound it! I keep getting contractory replies and suggestions...no fault to
anyone, as I know I'm asking something that just hasn't been properly studied
and that we just don't know enough about.

In the end, all I need to know is WOULD IT HURT?

To...take domperidone while pregnant?
To take galatogogue herbs while pregnant?
To pump while pregnant?
To continue nursing the toddler while pregnant?
To do anything else?

Maybe you think it would do 'no good', but would it HURT?

Blessings!
