Yes, I have to agree with Norma. I do not deny the need for recertifying at regu;ar intervals (I'll will be counting CERPs next year for my 15th anniversary), but the way how is puzzling. Now the exam is thelike for novices and more experienced LCs and it is most about knowlegde, less about skills. And I do know rather a lot IBLCE certified LCs that give advice that is not what I would catgorize as evidence based. Still they did sit and pass the exam. At the other hand my last exam results did niot reflect my level of working, skills and knowledge. I have to admit that lots of my students have higher percentages than I had.
  But, I don't have the slightest idea  how else one can examen thousands of examenees around the world at the same day and in the same way with using other techniques than the current.
