I'd stay away from that now. We used to think it was safe, but experience
showed it is just too easy for little babe to consume too much Vit E. It is
oil soluble and concentrates in the body. 
And it was so convenient: keep the bottle of gel caps in the 'fridge. Put a
hole in one and squeeze out a drop of Vit E. The gel cap tended to reseal
itself. While the amount of Vit E was negligible for mom, it turned out to
be enormous for babe.
