I have a client who had thyroid problems during pg (never before) and who was bounced around from one level of medication to another during her pregnancy.

At 6 weeks, she produces about a third of her baby's needs. She went off all meds at 4 weeks (before seeing me for the first time) to be tested. Her TSH is 1.4, her free T4 is .6.

It looks to me as if the TSH is in the comfortable middle of the .3 to 3 range that seems to be current. But what about that .6, which is below the .7 to 2 that I found on the web as the normal range. Is it low enough to merit a second look in a woman with low supply? Right now, she is medication-free.
