Parents in NZ use either saline, directly from the plastic ampule - a handy
dropper - or breast milk. It's warm, sterile , full of white blood cells
etc - and it clears out that snot well.
Would this be true for an older baby with a cold? To use breast milk to
help clear the sinus passages? My 17 mos old has a mild cold/possibly allergies
and has a lot of clear mucous. Am thinking of trying some breast milk to
clear her up, or is this unsafe for some reason?
Thanks for another "helpful hint" with breastmilk :)
