That's just what I observed yesterday!  The baby licked and nuzzled and was
nusing by about 1 hr of age.  The baby is mostly in Bonnie's arms or in
sight.  My yougest grandchild is 6 and was bottlefed :-(  so it's been a
while since I've had a chance to be up close and personal with the real deal
:-)

5 day old baby in today with thrush.  Older Dr filling in at our office
insisted that thrush will not go away until she weans.  Our interpreter went
and got me, we talked about GV and how to use it and I fixed her up with
APNO and assured her it will work. I hope it does, she is 16 with no ins
:-(   I just don't know how to  make him see that what he learned eons ago
is just old stuff and we know lots of new ways to do things so moms can keep
breastfeeding.  But I will give him a copy of Kay Hoover's thrush sheet next
