There's been some discussion about the levels of DHA in breastfeeding
mothers around the world.  It really is a fact that the levels vary from
country to country, even from state to state in the U.S.  Women in Japan
have a much higher DHA level in their breast milk than women from the U.S.;
in fact, I think that they have the highest levels of any country because of
a diet high in fish.   I have a whole list somewhere at work comparing the
levels from different countries.  When I get back to work (not for a few
days) I will look it up and post the source.  Maybe someone else has this
and can post it sooner.  I'm not advocating the need to supplement, but I
think this is interesting.
