Yes, this is a VERY appropriate use of pasteurized donor human milk.
Go to www.hmbana.org
to find the milk bank nearest you and contact them.  They will usually need a
purchase order for the milk which costs approx $3-4/oz plus shipping (done
overnight).  The price may sound high, but 2 months worth is less than 1 day in
the hospital!  For a letter to get the insurance company to pay see
www.cpqcc.org and click on Improving Nutrition for the NICU Infant toolkit and go to the
appendix.
