Darillyn,

I have never used it personally but have, on occasion, used it with new mothers who's infants need some supplementation before full milk is in.  In my experience mothers do not like it as they find it unwieldy.  My preferred method to accomplish the above is to have a "helper" use a syringe with a 3.5 or 5fr feeding tube while the baby is suckling at breast.  The helper can be instructed to give the supplement slowly, i.e.: 1 or 2 cc's every 10 seconds or something like that.  Of course this is only practical for very short term supplementation.
