Hello everyone, a very breastfeeding-friendly gynacologist at my
hospital came to me yesterday with a question (the first time ever I
have been consulted this way!). She has a patient with molluscum
contagiosum warts on her nipples, the patient is due to deliver in about
4 weeks and of course the question is if this mother to be can
breastfeed. I have to confess that I had never even heard of these kind
of warts but a Google search with over 54000 hits has taught me a few
things. But I still donīt have an answer to her question. What do you
all think? Are there any well-informed dermatologists on the list?

Thanks in advance for any information!
Linda Tsakiris IBCLC who is very sick of the snow here in Munich
