That's a great idea, but I suspect that most hospitals will take
free gift bags over discounted ones, and I doubt sling companies
are willing to donate them, there's not really anything in it for
them.
Why do we feel that we need to send parents home with a gift pack?
Do people in hospital for other reasons go home with gift packs?
The marketing ploys in this country (and elsewhere I imagine) drive
me crazy. If companies are not expected to have any ethics beyond
doing what it takes to make money, one would think that hospitals
have some obligation to think about the ethical issues involved here,
and there are many of them.

Just needed to vent on this one for a minute, thanks for indulging
me.
