LCs in the US may want to check out this site and its series of links to
major cities. It has a series of baby icons, #4 of which is Health. On that
page, you'll find a couple of paragraphs about breastfeeding - no info on
formula - and a suggestion to contact the "lactation consultants" in the
list that follows. What bothered me is the LACK of use of the IBCLC after
anyone's name. My suggestion is, if you live in one of those major cities,
make use of the Contact link at the bottom of that page & let them know
that No IBCLC means Not an LC, regardless of other credentials. If they do
have their IBCLC, it should be shown in the listing.
