<< I think the stuff shouldn't be sold personally.  In my years of WIC ..I've 
seen COUNTLESS infants develop anemia on the stuff....
In light of recent studies linking infant anemia to developmental delay and
learning difficulties in school age children, I'm surprised that this
DEFICIENT formula is permitted to be sold by the FDA. >>

Formula fed babies should receive iron supplemented formula.  *However* if 
for some reason a bf baby is being supplemented with abm then a LOW iron 
formula should be used in order to not overwhelm the lactoferrin in the 
babies gut.  (R. Lawrence p. 322)  BF babies should not receive any 
supplemental iron.
