Has she tried breast compressions?  As soon as baby starts to show
signs of slowing down, momcompresses her breast.  This stimulates
more milk flow, baby increases the suckling, thus furthering the
increase in flow.
Jack Newmann has a great handout describing breast compressions.  It
can be downloaded from a site title "firstfeast" or from "bflrc"
(Sorry, I don't know how to write the addresses that you can just
click and go to directly, but if you use these subjects, your
browser should take you to them.)
