Brenda,

Does baby have to have a bottle? Why not a sippy cup?? Mom would be assured
that care giver had to give baby his/her full attention thru the feed. I have
had several moms who found sippy cups and or spoon feedings worked where
bottle didn't.

If a bottle is the only way ... try wrapping it in an unwashed shirt or other
article of moms clothing. Another route is to put an item that smells like
mom between the caregiver and the baby-draped over the shoulder or
lap/abdomen/chest depending on baby.

Does caregiver have other children to care for or would he/she be able to
bring baby to mom for one feeding a day? How long of shifts does mom work?
Would reverse cycling work for this mom?

Just ideas. Sorry if this is jumbled, its late and I'm throwing these out in
a chain of consciousness sort of way. Good Luck- I hope something works for
this couple
