Having a three month old in VERY SUNNY (and hot) Phoenix, AZ I am concerned
about this as well. I asked my Ped about this as I am taking both my boys to
Lego land. He told me that 6 months was an old recommendation due to
ingredients no longer used. He also said the risks of skin cancer outweigh
(at least in our neck of the woods) the risks of sunblock.

How to make this related to BF. I am sure I get enough sun exposure hanging
out the laundry to keep Breastmilk levels safe. :}

I wonder how many cases there are of babies/children developing rickets in
the summer time in Desert areas of the world where it is absolutely too hot
to get much sun exposure??
