This mom is pumping for a 33 week infant with hyperbili. According to Dr. Hale giving this milk with Sulfamethoxazole in it is not advisable. My question is can she just keep it frozen and feed it to him when he is older (~ 2-3 months) or should she be throwing it out? Changing medication is not an option.
TIA

Kim Sweet RN, IBCLC
