I think we would all agree that 33 is not too old. I am assuming you are
getting this info from either the mom or her doc, so it is kinda third hand,
and you are right to question it. My guess would be (a) mom does not want to
bf or  (b) the doc does not want her to bf or (c) someone misunderstood the
info. Let us know if you find out differently. P.S. I lactated just fine in
my early 40's so maybe I'm biased?
