There are several great intense lactation programs around the country.
Lactation Institute in Encino California. National Capitol Lactation Center,
formerly Georgetown, in Wash DC area. I hope I am correct on these. And
there are a few university level programs that confer graduate credit or
even a degree. I believe ILCA is putting together a course directory? Jan
Barger can you give us any info on this? Or Barbara W-C?
Patti, Maybe you could contact ilca at [log in to unmask] to see where they are
on the course directory.
Remember ilca is the professional org for lactation consultants and iblce is
the certifying body. The 2 work closely together on these issues. iblce is

ILCA has a website and I'm pretty sure iblce does too. Good luck.
